West End of Kirkcaldy High Street - the work is now delayed by a month
The third and final stage of Kirkcaldy's town centre regeneration has been ongoing since January.

And now Fife Council has said that setbacks would result in the work taking over a month longer to complete than was anticipated.

Mark Dewar, Fife Council service manager said: “There was a slight delay in the early stages of the project and so the scheme is running five weeks behind the original schedule.”

Regeneration firm Land Engineering are carrying out the developments on behalf of Fife Council.

Mark said: “We reassure that any delay that incurs cost, out-with what the company is entitled to, will be absorbed by the contractor.”
