The storm, which hit the country on Friday, caused damage to the roof which led to the school being closed to pupils on Friday and today (Monday).

And now, thanks to high winds and rain caused by Storm Henry, workmen have been unable to finish repairs, meaning pupils will now be unlikely to return to school until Wednesday.

Speaking on Friday, headteacher Ronnie Ross explained that if the school closure continues for a lengthy period, contingency plans will be put in place to minimise disruption to school pupils.
