Labour’s Brexit spokesman, Sir Keir Starmer MP, is coming to Fife.

He is joining a business breakfast event in Lochore where he will speak to –and hear from – local companies.

The Shadow Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union was invited by Lesley Laird MP at the request of Fife Chamber of Commerce.

Ms Laird said: “Businesses here in the Kingdom are naturally concerned about Brexit and what challenges it will throw at them

“What a post-Brexit world will look like isn’t clear currently but this event will afford a valuable opportunity for businesses to speak directly with a respected politician whose knowledge of Brexit policy will bring valuable insight.

“I’m delighted that Keir took up my invitation to come to Fife and listen to what local businesses have to say – and what they believe a government should be doing to help them.”
