The Leuchars Military Wives Choir has been invited to perform in a Christmas Cracker – a festive concert organised by the SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association) Stirling, Falkirk and Clackmannan Branch.

The concert, on Sunday, December 7 at 7pm, is being held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Dunbarton Road, Stirling. Tickets are £8, including refreshments, and are available at the door or from Col Colin Peebles MBE at ssafa.tickets@gmail.com or by calling 01786 832987.

The first Military Wives Choir was set up in Catterick in 2010. There are over 80 choirs worldwide.

The Leuchars Military Wives Choir was formed in May 2013, with Vron Wootton as its musical director.

The choir is a great source of support for its ever-changing members – female service personnel, wives and dependants – and continues to go from strength to strength with the emphasis being on bringing everyone together for support, to have some fun and to fill the void caused by separation.
