At a recent meeting of Leven High Street traders and Fife Council representatives, several business owners urged the local authority to consider scrapping pedestrianisation in Leven - and opening the street back up to cars and even buses.
The street was closed to through traffic in the early 1980s, in a bid to make the town centre safer for shoppers, but now traders are calling on that decision to be reversed in a bid to revitalise the once bustling High Street.
What do you think - is pedestrianisation now an out of date concept? Or would a through road simply lead to town centre congestion?
