Lidl staff swap aisles for beach clean-up in Fife

Staff from Lidl UK will spend Friday cleaning local beaches as part of a fundraiser for the STV Children's Appeal.

They will focus on Seafield, Pathhead, Ravenscraig, and Leven beaches.

Ross Millar, regional director for Scotland at Lidl UK, said: “Fife’s beaches are well-known to be areas of outstanding natural beauty, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors a year. I’m very proud of the Fife store team for initiating this activity, which will make a big difference in helping to protect Fife’s beaches and wildlife, while also raising much-needed funds for a fantastic charity in Scotland.”

To date this year we have supported 48 beach cleans with many more scheduled in the coming months. We are delighted to support and promote Lidl’s innovative beach clean initiative.”
