Two Largo residents are to hold their annual art exhbition in Lower Largo from this weekend.
Liz Burt and Gerry Best – who work together under the name of Fusion – have been exhbiting their work together for eight shows, and as a twosome for the last seven years.
The pair met while taking an art class at The Centre in Leven, and both are now members of Largo Bay Art Society which meets on Wednesday evenings between September and March.
The showcase will take place at the village’s Very Crafty shop from this Saturday, August 16 to Saturday, August 23 (except Sunday and Monday).
Although each exhibition does not have a particular theme, Gerry creates a number of seascapes thanks to living right next to the sea at Lower Largo.
There will be paintings in a variety of mediums for sale, as well as a number of different craft items, from driftwood-inspired items to tea cup candles.
An opening evening with drinks and nibbles will take place on Friday evening from 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
The exhibition is open at Very Crafty on Main Street, from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
