Looking Back: Kirkcaldy pupils in the swim in 1996
Swimming teams from St Andrews and Balwearie High Schools met with swimming star Sharron Davies, at the inter-schools McVities Scotsplash '˜96 Challenge in May of that year.
The Olympian, and lest we forget, Gladiator, was host for the event, where along with the pool events, there was a fancy dress competition for the pupils to come dressed as McVities biscuits.
The first prize was won by Balwearie.
