Looking back: Kirkcaldy's Sea View School in 2001

Pupils at Kirkcaldy's Sea View School in Loughborough Road put a twist on national non-uniform day in 2001.

They dressed up in costumes from other nations to help raise money for Romania and Uganda.

Amongst traditional costumes such as kilts and royal robes were cowboys and native American Indians.

The pupils were also visited by community paediatrician Dr Rupi Tewari, pictured here with the group.

In total they managed to collect £125 for the worthy cause.
