Looking back: Menzies Campbell visits electronics factory in 1991
Our picture this week takes us a short way back to 1991 when Menzies Campblell MP visited Ian Black Industrial Electronics Ltd at the St Andrews Technology Centre at North Haugh to discuss investment opportunities.
The Citizen reported that during his visit he was shown the range of cable and wire assemblies that were being produced for the computer manufacturing industry as well as test equipment build, wire, cut and strip and machining facilities.
A new project for the petrol pump manufacturing industry was also on show, which, at the time. was not commercially manufactured in the UK.
