Looking back: Raith Rovers win promotion to the First Division
Raith Rovers boss Frank Connor leads the celebrations as the club clinched promotion from the old Second Division with a 4-1 victory away to Stranraer in May of 1987.
In an incredibly tight end to the season Rovers finished behind champions Meadowbank on the same 52 points as Stirling Albion and Ayr but snatched promotion due to a superior goal difference.
