Looking back: A short leap back to Kingsbarns in 1991

Mrs Ann Cameron who was aged 98 at the time this photograph was taken and was born during the reign of Queen Victoria.

She was Kingsbarns sub-postmistress between 1941 and 1952 and joined in the celebrations to mark the installation of a Victorian pillar box in Kingsbarns on July 12, 1991.

The village turned the clock back when local children, dressed up in period costumes, lined up to be the first to post their letters in the new box, which is outside the Post Office.
