Looking back: St Monans boat builders hard at work
A hoard of boat builders haul with all their might to pull a vessel up the beach at St Monans.
Famed for the quality and craftmenship St Monans boat builder J W Miller & Sons built fishing boats for St Monans, Pittenweem and Anstruther as well as Fifie yachts and, as undertakers, they also built coffins.
After 200 years of existence, the firm closed in 1976.
