Lynebank Hospital work praised

COUNCILLORS have been hearing about the good work taking place to improve opportunities for people with complex needs at Lynebank Hospital.

Roseanne Fearon, head of adult services, Fife Council social work services, said: “We are working with our partners in health, to further improve our services for those with complex needs. The programme has been designed to better support people with complex needs to live more fulfilling lives and to help them to move from inpatient care to supported community-based living.”

Councillor Tim Brett, vice chairman of the Health and Social Care Partnership, said: “I am pleased that there is a shared commitment between NHS Fife and Fife Council to address the needs of this group of patients in Lynebank hospital.”
