THE Sorcerer is one of the less well known of the Gilbert & Sullivan operettas, but it is a wee gem full of the loveliest music.

Kirkcaldy Gilbert & Sullivan Society, which staged the show at Adam Smith Theatre last week, did Sullivan proud with a set of strong principals and a good backing chorus.

By moving the setting to Scotland in the late 18th century, Robin Ozog, director, demonstrated his great vision for stage setting and production.

This was an entertaining production, enhanced by the clever twists inserted by the director, and presented by a talented group of people.
