A motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries during a crash in Fife.
The collision between the motorbike and a car took place on the B9157, around two miles outside of Kirkcaldy, around 9am this morning (Wednesday).
It is understood the car, a Volkswaggon Passat, and the Triumph motorbike were heading in the same direction at the time of the crash, which happened near to the turn-off for Kinghorn.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after 9am and restrictions put in place.
The driver of the motorbike sustained serious injuries however it is understood they are not life-threatening.
The road was cleared just after 10.30am.
