Man arrested for theft of woman's handbag in Leven
Police in Fife have arrested and charged a 32-year-old man following a robbery in Leven on Sunday, January 31.
A woman in her 80s was pulled to the ground and robbed of her handbag while she walked along William Laing Crescent. She was shaken but unhurt.
Detective Sergeant Alex Raeside of Levenmouth CID said: “We had a really positive response to our appeal for information, and I want to thank the people of Leven for their assistance with our investigation.”
The man will be appearing at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today (Friday).
