Man attacked partner in Fife
A Methil man has appeared in court following a violent attack on his partner.
William Robertson (56) of Patterson Street, admitted that on April 23 at his home he assaulted Helen Marie Woffenden, punched her on the head and grabbed her jaw to her severe injury and permanent disfigurement.
Dunfermline Sheriff Court heard that Robertson had analogous domestic convictions on his record.
Sheriff Craig McSherry called for reports and Robertson was remanded in custody.
He will be sentenced on August 16.
