Man charged after '˜hit and run' in Lower Methil

A man has been charged following a hit-and run collision in Lower Methil.

During the incident, a BMW struck a Peugeot car on the High Street at around 7.45pm on Monday (June 13) before colliding with a nearby block of flats.

As a result of continued inquiries by local officers a 29-year-old was subsequently arrested and will now be reported to the Procurator Fiscal for a number of offences under the Road Traffic Act.
