Man charged after riding motorcycle illegally in Kennoway

Levenmouth police have charged a 25-year-old man after he was as found illegally riding a motorbike on Leven Road, Kennoway.

The man from the Kennoway area will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal at Kirkcaldy for offences against the Road Traffic Act which took place on Sunday, January 31.

Community Sergeant Craig Fyall said: “This is another example of the positive action we are taking to remove illegal motorbikes from our streets under Operation Reflector.

“The use of illegal motorcycles is a danger to the public and to the riders themselves.”

Anybody with information in relation to the illegal and antisocial use of motorcycles is asked to contact police via 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Callers can remain anonymous and calls will be treated in the strictest confidence.
