Man charged with murder of Darren Adie
Police Scotland confirmed an arrest had been made - just 48 hours after his parent’s made an emotional public plea.
The 51-year-old is scheduled to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Friday.

Hide AdDarren (42) died after he was found injured on Tweed Avenue in the town on May 28.
At a press conference on Tuesday, His dad John (68) said the family were devastatedh and appealed for anyone with any information to come forward.
“He will never see his kids grow up,” he said. “Our family have lost a son, a brother, a nephew and an uncle. Darren’s kids, a son aged seven and a daughter aged nine, have lost a father.
“We want to bury our son and we can’t do that until Darren’s killer has been arrested.”
Police also gave an update on their investigation and confirmed this morning that an arrest had been made.
