Man dies after collapsing in Kirkcaldy street

Police closed off part of a Kirkcaldy street for hours last night after a man collapsed and later died.

Officers were called to William Street, close to the junction with Pratt Street at around 7.05pm.

Police confirmed that a 60-year-old man was taken to Victoria Hospital, but sadly died.

The incident was stood down at around 10.35pm.
