Man rushed to hospital after Glenrothes crash

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after his car overturned in Glenrothes yesterday (Sunday).

Police are appealing for witnesses after the collision on South Parks Road at around 8.20pm.

The silver Kia Cee’d left the road and overturned in a garden.

The 67-year-old driver was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy where he is in a serious condition.

No-one else was injured.

Officers are now asking anyone with information that can assist them with their inquiries to please come forward.

Derek Allan, Road Policing Sergeant said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the silver Kia Cee’d in South Parks Road around 8.20pm on Sunday.

“Anyone with information can contact us via 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
