Police have said that there are no suspicious circumstances following the discovery of a body at a Fife beach last week.
Officers were called to Pathhead Sands, Kirkcaldy on Friday morning.
They confirmed that the coastguard recovered a man’s body.
Police Scotland said the death was being treated as unexplained but that there were not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
