Man suffers serious injuries in road accident on A92 in Glenrothes

Police were called to the scene of the road traffic collision at the junction with the A92 and B969 at Balfarg just before 5pm tonight (Friday).

Two vehciles, a Citroen AX Spree and a Kia Picanto, were involved in the crash. Police were still on the scene just before 6pm directing traffic.

The male driver of one of the vehicles was taken to hospital with serious injuries, although it is understood they are not life threatening.
