Margaret Stewart from Methilhaven Home is to compete in the national final of the Care Cook of the Year 2015 culinary competition.
Margaret triumphed in the Scottish regionals heat, impressing the judges with her culinary skill and knowledge.

She will compete in a live cook-off against 10 others.
Organised by the National Association of Care Catering (NACC), the competition challenges competitors to create new and exciting menus and recipes appropriate for people in a care environment.
Margaret was required to produce a two-course menu with a total food cost of no more than £1.50 per head in just 90 minutes. Her menu included fish pie with a cheese and chive mash with pea puree followed by trio of chocolate puddings.
