Memorial service

A SPECIAL service to commemorate people who have lost their lives while working in Fife is being held this Saturday in Kirkcaldy’s Beveridge Park.

The service, organised by Fife Federation of Trades Union Councils will take place at a memorial tree planted in the park, just up from the boat shed, at 11.00 a.m. and will last around 30 minutes.

Wreaths to commemorate those who died at work will be laid by a number of unions as well as the Fife Federation of Trades Union Council.

There will be a number of guest speakers from various unions, and everyone is welcome.
