Methil musician Cameron Barnes will be hoping for a royal seal of approval this morning (Tuesday) when he plays for the Queen at the launch of the new ship Britannia.
Break the Butterfly frontman Cameron is back playing with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers for the occasion, which will see the Queen, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, name the 3,647-passenger ship in Southampton in a ceremony starting at 11.30am,
There will be 1,500 guests on the dockside, including Strictly Come Dancing’s Darcy Bussell CBE and actress Anne Reid MBE, of Last Tango In Halifax.
