The search for a missing Kirkcaldy man has been called off after he was found safe and well in the town.
George Stewart (31) had not been in contact with his family and friends since Monday morning when he was at Victoria Hospital around 9.30 a.m.
However police confirmed this morning that Mr Stewart had turned up safe and well.
Officers in Kirkcaldy thanked the public for their help in tracing him.
Concern had been expressed because Mr Stewart had recently been ill.
A police spokesman said: “Mr Stewart was found safe and well in the town. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to contact us.”
