Motorcyclist named following weekend accident in Fife

The motorcyclist who died following an accident on the A91 near Auchtermuchty over the weekend has been named.

Police confirmed today (Wednesday) that 38-year-old Euan King from Auchtermuchty died after his Yamaha motorbike left the road and collided with a tree on Sunday morning.

The crash took place at around 11.25am and officers are continuing to ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact police by calling 101.

Releasing a statement through police, Mr King’s family said: “Euan was a much loved partner, grandfather, son and grandson who will be sadly missed by all who knew and cared for him.

“We request that our privacy is respected at this difficult time.”
