MSP Gilruth welcomes Fife dentist registration figures

According to the data, 323,677 people now registered across NHS Fife.

The percentage of adults registered with a dentist in Fife has gone up from 83.3 per cent to 85.9 per cent during the last year, while the number of registered children has jumped from 92.8 per cent to 93.6 per cent.

MS Gilruth said: “People across NHS Fife are benefiting from this improvement, with 323,677 people now registered with a dentist, including 67,673 children.

“The new oral health improvement plan will show how we intend to keep this good work going, and ensure that people are not only registering with a dentist, but also getting regular check-ups.

“It is great to see people taking steps to ensure that they are able to access an NHS dentist in communities across Fife.”
