New council homes begin to take shape in Methil
The development at Durie Street, Methil is being undertaken by Fife Council Building Services and comprises 15 new Fife Council homes for rent.
In total, the development will consist of one and two-bedroomed cottage flats, amenity bungalows and a three-bedroomed wheelchair accessible bungalow.

Hide AdThese properties will contribute to the council’s commitment to deliver modern, fit for purpose, energy efficient homes.
Councillor Judy Hamilton, the Council’s executive spokesman for Housing & Building Services recently visited the site to see what progress was being made.
She said: “This is going to be a lovely housing development when it’s completed. It’s another fine example of the housing developments that the Council is building in-house.
Cllr Hamilton added: “This development contributes towards our wider commitment of delivering 2,700 new affordable homes by May 2017.

The project is part of the Council’s wider Affordable Housing Programme to increase the number of affordable homes avaialble for rent across Fife.
