New Kirkcaldy M&S foodhall to open in two weeks

The brand new M&S Foodhall at Fife Retail Park in Kirkcaldy is set to open its doors to customers in just two weeks time.

The much anticipated store will welcome customers at 10am on Wednesday, February 10, bringing around 60 new jobs to the area.

Members of the community are being invited to join employees to celebrate the launch of the store alongside Raith Rovers FC manager Ray McKinnon and players.

Employees will also use the occasion to announce the local charity the store will be raising funds for over the coming year.

The 8,400sq ft store will provide shoppers with more than 4,500 food and drink lines and a selection of flowers, cards and gift wrap.

Customers will also be able to enjoy a range of specialty pastries and cakes, freshly baked each day in the in-store bakery.

Anna Reekie, store manager, said: “This has been a much-anticipated store for Kirkcaldy and one which will complement our existing offer in the town centre. We are very much looking forward to opening for business and welcoming customers through the doors.

“We are also delighted to have been able to recruit local people from the surrounding areas to work at the store and the whole team is looking forward to getting started”.

The new store will provide shoppers with free car parking, a food ordering service and the popular next day delivery ‘Shop Your Way’ service which gives customers the option to have their M&S.com orders delivered to the store for free.
