New season gets underway with a win for vice president's side
Following the traditional delivery of the silver jack and the first two bowls of the outdoor season by club president's wife Viv Normand, over fifty players took to the green for the annual president v vice president match at St Andrews Bowling Club.
The overall score was president 68, vice president 84.
The president’s prizes went to Colin Balsillie’s rink of I Corry, S Gatherum and J Lowe, while best for the vice president was Dave McDermott’s rink of H Jones, R Davidson and A McLean.
