Fifers were treated to a spectacular light show in the sky on Sunday.
The Aurora Borealis was visible in the skies over parts of the Kingdom from 8pm, taking many by surprise.

A Met Office spokesman said it was a “lucky combination” of different weather conditions that had made for such a stunning display.
