The Dunhill was in full flight and since it’s now free – apart from the final day – it’s a good excuse to stroll around the Old Course.
It was a glorious day and the views back across the town were simply stunning.
As for the players... absolutely no idea who they were!

Hide AdA few names on the backs of the caddies were vaguely familiar, but if you’ve seen one bloke in a golf visor and white breeks staring intently at a yardage card, well you’ve seen ‘em all.
The only clue that anyone remotely famous was playing was the gaggle of young folk around the tee.

The US presidential hopeful has run out of toes to shoot himself in, but still he charges on as if he’s right, and everyone is wrong or, at least, agin him.
His comments on women that he tried to trade off as ‘locker room banter’ were truly disgusting.
