Flight - Recommended by Paul Cardwell

But even as he’s being hailed for his heroic efforts, questions arise as to whether he was at fault having been found out to be an alcoholic and a drug user.

Like how you would imagine the actual flight in the film, ‘Flight’ is a bit of a roller-coaster ride of a film.

Fast and enthralling at the start it dips to a slower pace in the middle before picking up pace again towards the end.

Denzel Washington, as always, is on top form and delivers a lead performance which stops ‘Flight’ ever becoming boring.

He also adds a depth of emotion in the scenes where he explores his vices and their effect on his and those around him’s lives.
