DVD Review - K-PAX

K-PAX may be an older film (released in 2001) but I think it is brilliant.

Based on the book of the same name by Gene Brewer, it tells the story of psychiatric patient, Prot (Kevin Spacey) who claims to be from the planet K-PAX. His psychiatrist Dr. Mark Powell (Jeff Bridges) attempts to cure him of his apparent delusions, but his level of knowledge even leaves him questioning whether or not Prot could really be an alien. His outlook on life proves inspiritational not only on fellow patients at the psychiatric facility but also on Dr Powell.

I loved every twist and turn - it keeps you guessing right .

The story was very thought-provoking, and I thought Kevin Spacey was fantastic in the role. Anyone who likes a good mystery will enjoy K-PAX and what I enjoyed about the ending is it’s open to interpretation - the audience has to decide what to believe.

Humourous, intelligent and entertaining - what more could you ask for?
