I was really looking forward to seeing this film as I had heard good things about it and I am also a fan of Scarlett Johansson’s work.

I have to say I was not disappointed.

The movie starts with Lucy (Johansson) being forced into carrying a briefcase to a Chinese drug-lord.

She is soon left fearing for her life as she is made a prisoner and effectively used as a mule when she is implanted with a drugs package.

While still in captivity Lucy is beaten up by one of the guards, releasing some of the drugs into her system.

This in turn has some incredible effects on Lucy as the substance unlocks up to 100 per cent of her brain capacity.

It allows her to do incredible things with her body but I won’t reveal exactly what as I wouldn’t want to spoil it for anyone who has yet to see this film.

I found the movie to be very exciting and entertaining with all the various twists and turns.

I also found the theory of being able to unlock 100 per cent of brain capacity very interesting in itself!

Would highly recommend Lucy.
