If you like subtle, charming comedies with warm, lovable characters and pretentiousness oozing from every pore - don’t watch We’re The Millers ...

It’s rude, crude, loud and in your face and about as subtle as a kick in the groin - and it’s laugh out loud funny and the most enjoyable film I’ve watched in some time.

It’s not remotely clever, the plot is basic and half-baked and there are enough swear words to make even Joe Pesci blush - but it doesn’t pretend to be anything other than a daft ride where nothing is off limits to poke fun at.

Casting Jennifer Aniston as a stripper is an obvious bonus but she again proves she is as good a comic actress as anyone as she joins Emma Roberts and Brit Will Poulter as a fake family hired by small-time pot dealer Jason Sudeikis to go to Mexico to smuggle a huge load of marijuana into the US to pay off a debt he owes his boss.

With a great supporting cast and a carefree attitude, this is a wild road trip that’s just fun to be on.
