BBC Countryfile presenter to help with home schooling on Kirkcaldy radio station

BBC Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton is set to help local parents with homeschooling through a series of new programmes on Kirkcaldy community radio.

Audio production company, Listening Dog Media, is working with The Local Media Network to create a series of radio features designed to help parents who are home schooling.

The series is to be broadcast across the Kirkcaldy area by K107fm from Monday, February 22.

Homeschool Helpers will be hosted by the former Blue Peter presenter with advice being provided from people such as TV Presenter Maddie Moate and celebrity life coach Jill Ritchie, alongside a number of education experts.

The series will contain 15 short features on the best ways to keep your children engaged in schoolwork, keeping them active, whilst also managing parents’ own mental health.

The series will air on 107fm each weekday for three weeks at various times of the day, with each episode also available to ‘Listen Again' via the station website k107.co.uk.
