Body found on beach at Lower Largo
Police have notified the family of a woman reported missing from Edinburgh after the discovery of a body on a Fife beach.
It was found at Lower Largo around 10:30 am today.
Police confirmed the discovery and said the family of Irene McArthur (59) had been informed.
She was reported missing from the Little France area of the city on February 12.
A police spokesman said formal identification had yet to take place.
