Dex the Munro-bagging West Highland Terrier is star of Fife man's new calendar
Ross Cunningham, from Glenrothes, created the calendar featuring his West Highland Terrier, Dex, at a series of different Scottish locations, including some in Fife, to support the kennels during the ongoing pandemic.
Second Chance is a registered charity which was founded in 1994 by Frank and Ena Conyon when it was identified that there was a need to help in the re-housing of unwanted dogs in the area.

Hide AdRoss, media and communications manager at St Johnstone Football Club said: “For the last three years Dex and I have been hiking all over Scotland. I’m an avid photographer so I’ve been taking pictures of him at all the places we have been to.
"Dex has his own online following and people have been suggesting that that I should make a calendar featuring him.
"I have already done a few charity challenges this year so I decided to create one, and donate all of the profits to Second Chance Kennels in Thornton.
"Frank and Ena do amazing work helping to re-house dogs, some of which are in a right state when they come into the kennels.”

Hide AdDex, who turned 10 in November, has bagged 62 Munros, but now only accompanies Ross on smaller hills as his age is catching up to him.
"I do Munros on my own now,” Ross adds. “Dex does the smaller hills with me as he is getting older.
"But, Fife is a great place for dog walkers. It has so much to offer and there are so many places to go and explore, we have the coastal path, several hills and plenty of woodland walks.
"Earlier this year I raised money for SAMH by hiking the 10 highest hills in Fife in 24 hours – I had to quite a bit of research as no one has ever created a list of them. I did one other people can do it for themselves.”
