A photographer from Kinghorn is raising funds for Kirkcaldy Foodbank with photoshoots from people’s front doorsteps during the coronavirus lockdown.
Sinclair Cunningham had the idea after capturing images of the empty streets in his home town and deserted beaches.

Sinclair said: “I want to tell a story of what life is like during the coronavirus pandemic.
“The families will get a keepsake to remember their time during the lockdown, but, to me, the portraits are so much more than just a picture – put together, they tell the story of the town at this moment in time.”
Sinclair plans to include businesses and frontline workers in his project.

He said: “I also want to include all the shops that are still open – even the ones that are shut if they would like to be included – to document what life was like for Kinghorn during the pandemic.
“These frontline workers are all unsung heroes – the care home staff, the takeaway workers, delivery drivers and shop workers. They are doing an amazing job day in, day out when it could be impossible to social distance at times.”

Sinclair adds: “I’ll continue to do the shoots and raise cash for the foodbank as long as the lockdown continues and I can get out on my bike for my daily exercise to do them.
“It has been great meeting all the families. Everyone has really been behind the idea to share all of our lockdown stories”
