Debbie MacCallum, from The Hamish Foundation, said: “We wanted to thank our care home workers for their selfless support and care of the most vulnerable in our society and to bring a little Easter cheer to both residents and care workers alike. The children have been hard at work designing and painting over 130 cards for all the recipients and Morrisons have kindly donated the eggs.”

Sue Woodcock, community champion from Morrisons St Andrews, said: “I was delighted to hear from The Hamish Foundation and support this initiative to bring some Easter cheer to our care home residents in St Andrews. Morrisons would also like to thank the care workers for their support and care of the residents.”

The Easter initiative was supported by local school children Thea, Sanna, James and Monty, Emily, Holly and Jack Anderson, Eleanor and David Henderson, and Harris Birnie, who spent the last week designing and making the Easter cards for all the residents.

Mum Vivienne Wright said: “It was an absolute pleasure making the cards.”
