A ruined Fife abbey is the perfect place to enjoy a spooky evening this Halloween.

Lindores Abbey Distillery is hosting a ‘Night with the Spirits’ in the ruins of Lindores Abbey.

Guests will be guided around the darkness of the abbey and told sinister tales by characters hidden in the shadows.

The tours will run every half an hour from 5-10pm on Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31.

Tickets cost £10 per person and includes a special Halloween cocktail. There will also be a BBQ and cocktail bar in the distillery courtyard, with braziers and rugs provided to protect against the Autumn chill.

Pre-booking is essential, and it is for people 16+ only – the stories really are pretty scary.
