A Fife author brings Scotland’s forgotten stories to life in a new book.

Leonard Low’s latest publication covers 30 stories which may have slipped from the public eye.

These include Jack The Ripper’s visit to a Scottish fishing village, and how the people of Inverness changed history with a barrel of whisky.

Leonard, who stays in Leven, is no stranger to the world of writing - Scotland’s Untold Stories is the third book in his trilogy.

He previously wrote about untold stories from Largo and St Andrews, ands has also turned the spotlight on the Weem witch, and the battle of St Monans.

Leonard is known for bringing history to life, with writing that reveals the lives and personalities of the people involved.

He uses their letters, period news stories, and many other documents, combined with personal observations of the locations, to piece together stories that have been forgotten.

Scotland’s Untold Stories will be on sale at local book stores and Amazon from December 5.
