Fife Cabaret Festival: burlesque and much more at Kirkcaldy venue this weekend

The glamour and glitz of cabaret comes to Kirkcaldy this weekend.

The Kings Theatre is the venue for the 2026 Fife Cabaret Festival which has been put together by Amby Stanyer-Hunter, the man behind many shows in town.

It runs across May 29-31 and features a line-up that embraces everything from burlesque to the spoken word, and from music to dance in a new streamlined format. Each event comes with a half hour long pre-show to give people a taster of what else is taking place.

The festival opens with the Cupcake Cabaret on Friday evening, produced by Darling Clementine.
