Fife Cultural Trust nets £50,000 emergency funding
The Trust will now distribute grants of between £500-£5,000 directly to freelance artists and creative practitioners, across all artforms, for artist led youth arts activities.
Maree Todd, Minister for Children and Young People, said: “Youth music and arts organisations across Scotland are playing an important role in the lives of young people during these difficult times.

Hide Ad"This funding will widen access to high quality opportunities for youngsters, allowing them to participate and engage with music and other artforms.
“It will also provide welcome employment opportunities to more than 200 youth arts practitioners, including freelance musicians, across Scotland.”
Michelle Sweeney, director of Creative Development, OnFife said: "Reaching young people in our communities, which include some of the most deprived areas in the country, is essential and we're delighted to be selected for this funding.
"It's a fantastic opportunity to gain a better understanding of what is needed at a local level and to build stronger relationships with young people, the organisations who support them and the artists who will be working with them.
