Fife Cycle Park to reopen for free

Fife Cycle Park is set to reopen to families next week, with the facility being free during the summer holidays.

A booking system will operate to make sure social distancing can take place in line with government guidance.

New signage will direct customers through a new one way system and hand sanitizers will be available on site.

Unfortunately equipment hire is unavailable at the moment and families are being asked to bring their own bikes and helmets for now.

Convenor of Fife Council's Community and Housing Services Committee Cllr Judy Hamilton is delighted to be welcoming Fifers back to the Cycle Park.

She said: "As lockdown measures ease it's great to be able to safely reopen facilities to families. Alongside many activities on offer this summer, Fife Cycle Park is free to use and you can book a session directly on cyclepark.fife.scot

"Let's hope the sun shines on Fife this summer and we can can get out and about to enjoy everything the Kingdom has to offer."
